There are elections for every one of the 18 seats on Todmorden Town Council on May 7th as well as parliamentary and Calderdale elections. Local electors will have three ballot papers to complete.
Only the Liberal Democrats in Todmorden are fighting every seat. The Conservatives have only 2 candidates, the Greens just 3 and then there are a handful of right wing candidates. Labour managed 16.
The Liberal Democrats will soon publish a manifesto calling for radical decentralisation of local services to Todmorden Town Council from Calderdale.
