‘Millions of jobs, including over 363,000 here in Yorkshire and the Humber
depend on EU membership.  The North of England and the Midlands would be the
worst affected in any EU pullout because those areas have an even higher
percentage of jobs dependant on the EU than other parts of the UK. The latest
research by The Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) has estimated
that 4.2 million jobs now depend on  EU membership up from 3 million in 1997.
